Confirm the exact vehicle
Record the model year, trim, powertrain, steering configuration and equipment in a written specification. Identify whether the proposed vehicle is a China-market version. Request the documents available for that particular vehicle and have the intended importer review them against destination requirements. The presence of a model in an online catalogue does not establish that every version is suitable for every market.
Check everyday compatibility
Review charging connectors and supported charging conditions, cabin languages and the functions you need from the infotainment system. Ask which connected services depend on accounts, mobile networks or geographic availability. Discuss servicing and parts requirements with your local provider. Confirm each important feature separately; equipment shown in a domestic demonstration may behave differently when used overseas.
Agree responsibilities before purchase
Ask which party will handle procurement, inspection, export preparation, transport, destination clearance and registration. Record the scope of the quote and any documents or decisions still outstanding. Obtain advice from the appropriate destination specialists before final commitment. Carry confirmed requirements into the contract and inspection checklist so they remain visible throughout the transaction.
