Identify the actual charging specification

Ask for the charging specification of the exact model year and version being offered. Confirm the AC and DC inlets, supported charging modes and the equipment included with the vehicle. A brand name or model photograph is not enough to establish compatibility. Do not assume a China-market version has the same charging configuration as a vehicle sold in another market.

Check the intended charging locations

Identify the home, workplace, depot or public chargers the buyer expects to use. Have a qualified local charging provider review connector standards, electrical requirements and supported communication with the vehicle. Treat any proposed adapter or conversion as a separate technical assessment. A connector that can physically attach does not by itself confirm safe operation or the availability of every charging function.

Interpret charging claims carefully

Published charging figures depend on stated conditions such as battery state of charge, temperature and charging equipment. Compare figures with their conditions attached and avoid treating a peak rate as a guaranteed result. Record the confirmed equipment and compatibility requirements in the enquiry and purchase specification. Resolve remaining technical questions before making a final vehicle selection.
